What is the obsession with Stanley Cups? You'll soon be convinced!

Andy Warhol famously predicted that in the future everyone would be famous for 15 minutes - and it seems his theory applies to CUPS, too.

The latest drinking vessel to get the internet spamming the comments section with heart-eye emojis is the Stanley Quencher cup, a handled, double-walled insulation mug that can keep drinks hot for eleven hours, or ice cubes intact for two days (yes really).

It has gone down a storm in the US, with people loving its huge volume and its cleverly tapered end which means it fits neatly in a car's drink holder.

And of course, coming in a range of colours, it looks pretty cool too.

Until today it was near-impossible to buy the Stanley Quencher H2.0 Flowstate™ Tumbler in the UK but the iconic thermos brand have revealed that it will be coming to our shores in June this year, and be available exclusively on their site.

A spokesperson for Stanley confirmed the mugs, which are made from 90% recycled stainless steel, will be available in four gorge colours, Rose Quartz, Chambray, Eucalyptus and Charcoal.

They'll be the same 40oz size as the ones that have clocked up 127.3 million views on TikTok. If you're baffled by US measurements, the cup holds about 1.2 LITRES, which makes it great for taking to the gym or yoga studio, long trips, or having with you to sip on at work. (And while some people might be enthused about having 1.2 litres of coffee to power them through their commute, it is *really* not advisable).

The cup's lid has three settings, and you can use it without a straw, although it has a special opening designed to resist splashes while holding the reusable straw in place. It also has a drink opening, and a full-cover top. The ergonomic handle makes it easy and comfy to carry around.

The price of the UK Stanley Quencher has yet to be confirmed.
